Kiosk Configuration
Configure kiosk mode, session timeouts, receipt settings, and customer-facing options.
Overview
The kiosk is the customer-facing interface where walk-in customers personalize their embroidery. It runs at /kiosk/{your-workspace} and is designed for touch screens and counter displays.
Kiosk modes
Go to Settings → Kiosk to choose a mode:
- Both — Customers can browse your product catalog or bring their own item. This is the default.
- Shop items only — Skips the landing page and goes directly to your product browser.
- Customer items only — Skips the landing page and goes directly to item category selection (hat, jacket, bag, etc.).
Session settings
- Session timeout — How long an idle kiosk session stays active before resetting. Prevents abandoned sessions from blocking the kiosk.
- Proof delivery — Enable email and/or SMS proof delivery so customers can receive a preview of their design.
Receipt and handoff
- Receipt footer text — Custom text printed on thermal receipts (e.g. "Pick up in 30 minutes").
- TrackMy.Shop integration — Optionally hand off order tracking to an external system.
Branding
Under Settings → Brand, customize:
- Kiosk headline — The main heading customers see on the kiosk landing page.
- Kiosk subcopy — Supporting text below the headline.
- Approval copy — The consent text shown before customers approve their design.
Item categories
When customers select "Personalize your item," they choose from a list of item categories (Hat, Jacket, Bag, etc.). The default categories cover common embroidery items. To customize them, update the Customer item categories JSON in kiosk settings.
