Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
Your first shop gets 14 days of the Kiosk free, or 30 days through a referral link from another shop. No card is needed. The trial starts when you verify your email. It’s one free trial per account: a workspace you create after that starts with a subscription.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you subscribed during the trial, billing starts the day it ends, so you keep every free day. If you didn’t, the workspace locks until you subscribe: the kiosk stops taking orders, but your team can still finish the orders already placed.
Is tax included?
No. The Kiosk is $100/mo plus any sales tax or VAT, which Paddle, our payment provider, adds at checkout.
How do my customers pay?
At your register, with your own point of sale. ThreadReady doesn’t take your customers’ payments and charges no fee per order: scan the receipt to mark the order paid.
Can I cancel, or get a refund?
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of any payment, no reason needed. Refund policy
How will the other products be billed?
Separately. Commerce and AI will each have their own price when they launch, and you add only the ones you want. A Kiosk and Commerce bundle is planned.
