Your Account

Overview

Your account is you: your sign-in and your email preferences. It applies in every workspace you belong to, and changing it doesn't change anything for the rest of your team.

Signing in

Sign in with your email and password. A session lasts 5 days. A wrong password, and an account whose email isn't verified yet, both get "The email or password provided is incorrect." Under it, Just signed up? Resend the verification email sends a new link (see Signing up). After many failed tries, signing in is paused for a while.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. The reset link works once, for an hour: if it has been used or has expired, the page says so straight away, and you can ask for a new one. A new password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.

Account settings

Open Settings → Account (or Account settings in the user menu, top right) to manage your own sign-in details. These apply to you in every workspace you belong to.

• Name — change the name your team sees.
• Email — enter the new address and your current password. We send a confirmation link to the new address; your email only changes when you open it, and we let your old address know. After the change you sign in again with the new email.
• Password — enter your current password and the new one twice. Changing your password signs you out on every other browser and device.
• Signed-in sessions — Sign out other sessions signs you out everywhere except the browser you are using.

Email preferences

Under Settings → Account → Email Notifications:

• Product tips & updates — setup tips for a new shop's owner: four emails in the first two weeks after signup, each with the next step for your kiosk. Off unless you ticked the box when you signed up; people who join by invitation start with it off, and an account without the setting counts as off.
• Billing emails — trial reminders and locked-workspace notices, for the shops that send them to you. Turning it off applies to every shop you belong to. If that leaves a shop with nobody to tell, they still go to its owners (see Who gets billing emails).

Password resets, invitations and other account emails always go out.

Delete your account

You can delete your own account from Settings → Account → Delete account, after entering your password. It takes effect at once and can't be undone: you're signed out, you lose access to every workspace, and you stop getting ThreadReady email (you get one last email confirming the deletion).

The workspaces you belonged to stay, along with their orders and designs. Order history keeps its record of what happened but no longer links to you. Invitations you sent stay valid and move to another owner of the workspace.

When it's done you see a page saying your account was deleted.

A workspace always needs an owner, so you can't delete your account while you're the last owner of a workspace. The page names those workspaces. Make someone else an owner in Settings → Team, or delete the workspace, then come back. If the workspace is locked because its trial ended, Delete Workspace is at the bottom of Settings → Billing.
